1st Timothy 6:11-12, the WORD says, KJV: “But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

Here’s the MSG version, “But you, Timothy, man of God: Run for your life from all this. Pursue a righteous life—a life of wonder, faith, love, steadiness, courtesy. Run hard and fast in the faith. Seize the eternal life, the life you were called to, the life you so fervently embraced in the presence of so many witnesses.”

During the night morning, about 4am or so I was awakened, so then I started praying. When I finished praying, I positioned myself to hear the LORD, listening to what He wanted to speak. Then all the sudden, I encountered spiritual warfare, which I stood my ground, speaking the WORD of GOD in authority of Jesus Christ. This occurred all through until the early morning.

Then after all that was done, then the LORD spoke and said, that the church would encounter a similar spiritual warfare if we do not grow and be. We need to fight the good fight of faith because what is going to come is going to require the church to fight and stand.

The spiritual warfare that occurred were things that if you do not know who you are or you do not have the WORD of GOD in you, then you will not stand. It is very important for you to know who you are and the WORD, and live it in faith. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the WORD of  GOD (Romans 10:17).

We need to be in the WORD, we need to pray, we need to seek God’s face and remain in it. Psalm 91:1, KJV, the WORD says, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

We need to come out of our spiritual slumber, and be sober and alert. We need to believe in who we are, the children of GOD. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:(1st Peter 2:9).

It’s time to grow and be. How? Know that the LORD is going to take care of you. Know that you are a warrior, a king/priest who intercedes and decrees a thing. It’s time to spend time in prayer. The LORD said to His disciples, “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41).

We need to know the times and season of where we are and where we are going. We need to raise our voice and be still, in the secret place, to change things in our nations. It is the time for you to be the prayer warriors, interceding for others/nations.

I saw a video of a church in Africa, who attended their church with an open roof. The church was burned by Islam extremists I believe. But the church still gathered together, praising and worshipping the LORD. If this was to happen in the church in the USA, and it has, will we still gather together, or will we flee?

We need to grow and be. Develop spiritual maturity, spiritual growth,  and be who the WORD says you are. In order for us to know who we are, we need to know the WORD and what the WORD says about GOD and what HE says about us. My brothers and sisters, before the WORD, we were in the world. All of us should know what the world does like the back of our hands because that is where we came from in a sense  but do we know the WORD like the back of our hands?

Also, are we walking in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, so that He may leads us into all truth, in walking in the WORD? A while ago, the Holy Spirit led me to write a post that is titled, It’s Time to Grow Up!, when I was reading the book of Matthew 25:1-13, the ten virgins. In summary, He was mentioning that we need to be filled with Him, we need to grow, we need to walk in the Spirit, distinguishing good from evil, because when we sow to please the Spirit, we sow eternal life (Galatians 6:8).

We need to already be fed with solids, not milk. For us that have been Christians for a while, we need to feed on the solids, growing more as followers of Christ. We already know what the Gospel has done for us, which continuously is a daily role we need acknowledge and live within our lives. Now we are called to go deeper with the LORD, coming up higher.

It is the time to not conform to the patterns of this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2). It’s time to know who you are, letting go of the things hinders your spiritual growth. We need to be prepared, spiritually first and foremost. Let’s seek the LORD, dwelling in Him. Let’s grow and be the church that ACTS, like the ACTS church! Let’s grow and be. Glory to the LORD.
