Let’s Grow Together

Based on the words received and written in the last blog post, I wanted to give an important observation or say regarding this. Again, I believe that the LORD wants us to grow up.

How you may ask?

By trusting in Him and not walking in the ways the world does. To forsake the flesh and walk in the Spirit. To love the LORD with all your heart, soul mind, and strength (Deuteronomy 6:5), as well as love others as ourselves. To trust in GOD rather than man. The WORD says we need to be shrewd as snakes and innocent as doves (Matthew 10:16).

I think in this day and time, we are led by our limited mindset rather than knowing that we are supposed to prosper physically, financially, and mentally as we are led by the Spirit.

I think we are led by our feelings rather than the truth that says lean not on your own understanding but in ALL your ways ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, and He shall direct your path.

I think we are not fully living in the potential the LORD has given us. Because if GOD has given us everything, why aren’t living in the things He has fully given us (Ephesians 1:18)? Are we truly seeking what GOD has given us? Are we just living and attempting to live our day to day lives?

In the story of the 10 virgins (Matthew 25:1-13), you see how the 5 foolish virgins did not attend the wedding feast because they weren’t ready. How can one be ready?

Like the 5 wise virgins, they were guided by the Holy Spirit, which led their lamps to keep burning. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel, might, and fear of the LORD. Are we led by Him or our flesh?

When we are led by our flesh, we are led by our desires and these desires are against GOD’s will (Romans 8:8). Are you still harboring anger? Are you still cursing? Are you still lusting? Are you still wanting to do what you want rather than what GOD wants? Are you still living in the world but also being a Christian, when the WORD says not to do so?

Now this is not saying that GOD cannot help or give you mercy to overcome this, but you have to make the conscious decision to say no to ungodliness and yes to Holiness.

***I specifically want to talk to the Christians who are half in and half out. Meaning you are worshipping what is in the world and you also worship GOD. May you understand that the world has nothing for you. But Christ is everything. If you currently do not understand that then that means you have not deeply understood the purpose of salvation, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, or even the sacrifice He made for us.

Jesus Christ loves you dearly because HIS love for you is high, deep, long, and wide, but He did not die for you to still engage with the world. We’re building the Kingdom of GOD on earth but what you’re doing is building the kingdom of the evil on this earth!

I also think that there is a level of maturity that GOD wants us to reach, that only the Holy Spirit can help us to reach butwe have to be led by HIM. And as mentioned in the WORD in the last blog post, we are told that we have not reached it. Or Jesus Christ could have come already.

Our level of maturity is not up there.

We are free. We have authority in Christ Jesus. We are children of GOD MOST HIGH. Yet we still want to be with the world. Yet we still trust in man than trust in the true GOD, the creator of heaven and earth. This is like the Israelites that were enslaved for over 300 or 400 years in Egypt and when GOD delivered them out of Egypt, their mindset was still hung on Egypt. They even built a calf and called it the god that delivered them out of Egypt. That was foolishness. This teaches us that we cannot use worldly things and GODly things together, it does not make sense. And the gods of this earth, what you worship no matter what or how it looks like is worthless.

Let us come back to the Father who desires us to grow, who desires us to mature, who desires us to let our light shine, letting the world see who we belong to and who we are, in all areas of our life. Even if we struggle, we know whose we belong to and we cleave to HIM. We are the salt of the earth, the light that does not hide under a bushel. You are more than what the world calls you because greater is the WORD of the LORD who calls you His OWN than those who call you in the world. Greater is HE that is in you than the one who is in the world.

And let me clearly say this: This message was meant for me as well. I am your sister in Christ, so therefore let us grow TOGETHER.
