In Romans 5:3-4, the word says, “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” Situations, problems are not meant to put you down, but it is meant to strengthen you. What the world consider strength is different from what the Word calls strength.
When you encounter problems, they are to build you up. There’s a story that was told of a boy watching a butterfly in its chrysalis struggling, and fighting its way out of its the chrysalis. Long story short , the butterfly needed to struggle to come out of the chrysalis because if it didn’t it, it would not be able to fly but die.
My brothers and sisters, that’s the same thing with us. Struggles are not to overcome us. We must overcome it, because it produces strength, character. Remember Jesus Christ overcame the world, He never conformed to the world but was near to God. Therefore, these struggle, these problems that we go through, it is because it builds our strength when standing in faith, it builds strength in our prayer life, it builds strength to worship the Father in Spirit and truth.
These struggles, because they will come either way, should draws us near to the One who calls us His and develop us into the holy righteous children of God we are through Christ Jesus. Ephesians 6:13, the Word says, “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”
Struggles are not easy, they’re not comfortable, but as the WORD says, it builds character, character, hope, and at that, you stand. Walk in power, love and sound mind in Jesus name.
