Proverbs 10:8, the word says. The wise are glad to be instructed, But babbling fools fall flat on their faces. We know the world like the back of our hands. But when it comes to walking in righteousness, we need to walk in truth. In the book of Proverbs, The word mentions that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
Those who acknowledge and revere the Lord are wise. So if you want to be wise, you have to fear the Lord. Who knows all and desires us to walk in truth by the renewing of our minds. We are no longer conforming to the pattern of this world, where it was just about me, me, me.
But now, because we are called to be wise, walking in the wisdom of God, it is all about God. The Father wants to give you and I the instructions on how to live righteously. How to worship him in spirit and in truth. For us to receive the instructions, we must be spiritually wise and humble. When you are humble. You acknowledge that you don’t know it all, because to be honest, we really don’t.
We must be spiritually wise and humble so that the Lord renews our mind, where our lives change, our perspective changes, where we no longer depend on ourselves, depend on this world, depend on persons, places or things, but we depend on God. Let’s walk in power, love, and a sound mind. In Jesus’ name.
