“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33.
My brothers and sisters, I’m here to tell you that Jesus said that this life is not going to be easy, that we are going to have trouble. What does it mean when talking about life not being easy?
When you are walking as a child of God, living a holy life, you can’t live like the world does, and sometimes that makes it not easy to live this life. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and a holy nation, peculiar people, interesting people to show forth the praises of Him who has called us out of this world, this darkness, and into His marvelous light, being set apart and sacred for Him. But the world is not going to agree and see you as a weird, different, probably cuckoo.
However, the truth stands that God is real, and Jesus Christ is coming soon. And because we all should know that this life is not going to be easy living, we can now rest to lean on God. We can now rest in Him and realize that that is what He desires. God’s lovingkindness, in Psalm 63:3, is better than life.
Allow His unfailing love, His faithfulness to lead you to be transformed be the renewing of your mind, giving you a new perspective on how to live this life, than what you were used to before. And only He, the Father, and in Christ, is able to make all things possible in making your life abound to do every good work, living a godly life.
You are a new creation in Christ, where the old has gone and the new has come. That means that how you live and how you perceive things, even when it is not easy, will lean on His power, love, wisdom, and strength.
Trust in God, and know that the life that you live is no longer yours, so rest in Him and trust in Him.
Walk in power, love and sound mind in Jesus name.
