Ephesians 5:1-2 NIV, the WORD says, “Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”
As children of GOD, we should be like our Father, and life lived in love. And that we should present ourselves as a living sacrifice before the LORD the Father because of what He has done for us. And as a living sacrifice we should live life and life in abundance in Christ.
A living sacrifice has no blemish, therefore it is ready to be used by the LORD. In Mark 3;13, the WORD says that He, the LORD Jesus Christ, called up these disciples unto the mountain, “…the one He wanted to go with Him”. The WORD also said that He would accompany them, as He spoke the truth unto them, making them clean, and then would send them out to preach the Word, the Good News (John 15;3).
As a living sacrifice we ought to live in purity. A living sacrifice without blemish is the one that has the WORD in them.The WORD gives life and light, so when you have the WORD in you, you are walking as a living sacrifice.
A living sacrifice is not the flesh, we do not sow to please the flesh, but the living sacrifice sow to please the spirit (Galatians 6:7-10).
