May the Holy Spirit reveal this word for your own walk with the LORD.

The Lord will not allow the righteous to hunger [God will meet all his needs], But He will reject and cast away the craving of the wicked. [Ps 34:9, 10; 37:25]

Proverbs 10:3 AMP

The word allow stuck out to me, so I looked it up. The word allow means this:

  • give permission
  • grant
  • endure
  • tolerate
  • suffer
  • permit

So this means that the LORD will not give permission, He will not grant, He will not endure, He will not tolerate, He will not suffer, He will not permit you to go hungry. He will meet your needs.

We have to understand that in Christ, we will always be satisfied. In John 4:14, the LORD spoke to the Samaritan woman telling her that whoever drinks the water He gives will never thirst again.

In Matthew 4:4, the WORD says, man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of GOD.

Being fed with His WORD makes us full, more than any other word, which can’t never be enough.

Is His WORD enough for you? Is His food enough for you? Is His water enough for you?

In John 6:53, the LORD says, “And Jesus said to them, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood [unless you believe in Me as Savior and believe in the saving power of My blood which will be shed for you], you do not have life in yourselves.”

Isaiah 55:2, the WORD says, “Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, And your earnings for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight in abundance. [Jer 31:12-14]”

Nothing in this earth is satisfying, nor does it make us full because we will continue to seek whatever to fill what is missing in us but will always leave us unsatisfied. But in the Father, in Christ, there is abundance, more than enough that nothing else in heaven or on earth can compare. So because you are righteous, in Christ Jesus, the LORD has an abundance where you will eat and drink and it will be good, it will be full, it is will be satisfying.

Prayer:
Abba Father, in the name of the Jesus Christ, do not allow us to go hungry, but feed us so that we never hunger for nothing else again. Give us the drink that we will never thirst again. Amen.
