In the last few days, the LORD has been dealing with me about certain things and I wanted to share them with you, or share them with someone that may need to hear this.

***Place this before the LORD and let the Holy Spirit lead you in regarding to this.

It’s not going to be a long post but I will make it as concise as possible.

We’re going to start with Numbers 13 & 14.

In summary, the story is about the Israelites who are were going to take over the land of Canaan, the promise land the LORD gave them. 12 men were sent t explore the land for 40 days. And after these 40 days, they came back with the news.

However, 10 of them spoke negatively and were fearful, while Joshua and Caleb spoke faith and encouraging the people to go forward, for they believed that GOD was with them. However, the Israelites took the side of the 10 men and started speaking fear and negatively, comparing themselves to those who resided in Canaan.

Consequently, this made the LORD angry, because of their doubts. And the result of this was that the generation that lived in doubt in fear we’re going to die in the wilderness; they were not going to see the Promise Land. In addition, the next generation were going to suffer the consequences of the current generation that doubted by living in the wilderness and become shepherds of the land, the wilderness. Until all the current generation died, the next generation could not go to the promise Land.

So as I was reading this, it made me think of us, all of us. I can’t really tell you what generation we are, but what I know is that we are supposed to build a bridge for the next generation. Meaning, we need to be strong, faithful, and endure so that we become the glory the next generation will walk in, and they themselves will walk in a greater glory.

And it is not our glory, but the glory of the GOD that is within us.

I believe that this hour that we need to think about how we’re going to be a bridge for the next generation. I believe that the LORD is building us up, spiritually, so that when the time comes we will stand, we will go forward and not look back.

As I mentioned for some time, something is coming, and I believe, that this may relate to this. Though this is personal to me, I believe this is for the church as well. I think this may also relate to the “plandemic” that happened years ago. But again, place this before the LORD.

This is what I wrote in my notebook:

So do not fear, go forward, and conquer, as a mighty person of valor, forget the past, and go forward, going from one glory to another,
what the LORD calls you, not what you nor anyone calls you. And this will lead the next generation to walk from one glory, with a different perspective, to the next as well.

It is the former house to the latter house; the former rain to the latter rain, one work to greater works.

Bible verses that correspond to these words:

  • Numbers 13:14
  • Philippians 3
  • Judges 6: 12
  • Romans 12:2
  • John 16:13-14
  • Matthew 16:13, 16-19
  • Haggai 2:9/ 2 corn 3:18/ John 14:12/ Joel 2:23

I also believe that there is a refining happening or about to happen. The Father desires a spotless and blameless bride for the LORD Jesus Christ, because we need to remember that He is coming soon. We need to live in a different perspective that we need to behold, growing to know the Father better. Coming up higher in spiritual maturity.

So we need the FATHER to enlighten the eyes of our heart with the WORD, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth, so that we know the hope to which we’ve been called, “…the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe” (Ephesians 1:17-19).

So brothers and sisters, it is the time I believe to be in the WORD so that our eyes see light and not darkness, where the truth is shining more brighter than the darkness.

“Only let us hold true to what we have already attained and walk and order our lives by that.” Philippians 3:16 AMPC
