You have wearied the Lord with your words. “How have we wearied him?” you ask. By saying, “All who do evil are good in the eyes of the Lord, and he is pleased with them” or “Where is the God of justice?” Malachi 2:17 NIV
If you are calling evil good and good evil, you might as well say love is love. But that’s not love. Love is pure. It is not tainted. Looking at the 1st Corinthians 13, let’s look at those things that define love more deeply.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NIV
I highlighted the word proud for a purpose. So let’s look at it more deeply. Proud is equally the word pride. Now going further, we all should know a group that has the word pride in it: The LGBTQ community. They call themselves pride, etc.
But the WORD says that pride is an abomination to the LORD.
Let’s go a bit deeper.
When you are proud, you have a divided heart, a heart that is for GOD (your identity in Him such as male and female for the purpose of this purpose) and the other is on yourself and the things of this world. Romans 12:2 says to not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you will test and approve what GOD’s will is, His good, pleasing and perfect will. When you have a renewed mind, in GOD through Christ Jesus, your heart will not longer be divided, but have an undivided heart.
In Psalm 86:11, the WORD says teach me your way so that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.
The way of pride is not the way of the LORD and it is a divided heart, going your way than fully going GOD’s way! To add this as well, we are called to be taught by the LORD. When I say that we are called to be taught by the LORD is because of the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, who will, through GOD’s servant, teach and speak the truth so that one comes to Jesus Christ.
In John 6:45, the WORD says ‘Jesus continued, “It has been written by the prophets, ‘They will all be taught by God himself.’ If you are really listening to the Father and learning directly from him, you will come to me.“
So, therefore, the Spirit will also convict the world in judgment, sin, and righteousness (John 16). In righteousness that you cannot be righteousness alone nor call yourself good but only in Christ that you are able to be righteous. In sin that if you reject Jesus, you sin, you reject the truth. In judgment, because satan has already been judged and if you continue with your own righteousness and in your sin, you will be judged as well.
So overall you cannot say that love is love because love is not filled with pride, it is not filled with your own righteousness and it is not filled with sin. I wrote a blog post about this similar topic, highlighting that this is sexual immoral because the act is repulsive and wrong. It is impure because the bed that one lays in is between a man and a woman, when they are married. Lastly it is sensual when we are told not to gratify the desires of the flesh but walking the Spirit.
So the evil that is considered good is evil! Do not call evil good and good evil!!! Isaiah 5:20, the WORD says “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”
In Romans 12:21, the WORD says “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Evil is evil and good is good! And the only one that is good is the Father! Do not be deceived brothers and sisters! God judges sin, yet He still loves the sinner and desires them to turn to Him! So that HE can teach them His ways so that they rely on His faithfulness, and give them a undivided heart so that they fear His name! So pray brothers and sisters, that the pride community turns to the LORD according to Psalm 86:11.
Also remember that the fear of the LORD is not to be scared of Him, but to revere, worship, devote, commit, be in awe, and respect the LORD GOD for who He is!
If you need a prayer for the pride community here is one that I’m currently praying. but please let the Holy Spirit also give you the words to say. Only He knows what we need to pray for concerning the pride community and the LORD saving them. So here’s the prayer:
LGBTQ Community: Lord God you so loved the world that you sent your son to die for us, all of us. So therefore I pray for the pride community because you love them as well. Lord God you said that pride is an abomination to you. And therefore that this community that considers themselves pride be humbled to know that their identity is not found in themselves but in Christ Jesus.
I also pray and speak forth that what was wrong in their soul, spirit, and mind be made right in Jesus name. Therefore Lord, teach them your ways O Lord, by sending the perfect laborer into their lives to have the veil be lifted off their eyes, ears, and hearts so that they will have wickedness be removed from them and that they ultimately turn to rely on your faithfulness.
Give them an undivided heart so that they fear (reverence, respect, devote, worship, commit, be in awe of) your name, the real truth of you so that they are sanctified in your truth. I speak deliverance, redemption, revival, freedom over the LGBTQ community and they turn to their real identity and real calling in God through Jesus Christ in Jesus name.
As they walk in their new life in Christ Jesus, I speak increased faith, endurance, and focus all the days of their life so they will endure their cross and scorn it’s shame. I declare over them they shall overcome this life by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony.
I also pray that in your grace they guard their hearts from the world, rejoicing in you always, bestowing riches of the gospel to others and experiencing everything they have in you Abba through Christ Jesus. i thank you and I bless you for it, in Jesus name.
Glory and Honor to the LORD.
