The LORD wanted me to clarify something that has been misconstrued. So I’m going to write His truth so as to WORD says, the truth will set you free, Roman’s 8:32. I also spoke about this on my Tik Tok account, angolwa_cecilia.

I want to start with a couple of bible verses that backs up what He wanted to say to us His people.

  • Deuteronomy 30:19
  • Jeremiah 21:8
  • Ezekiel 18
  • Proverbs 18:21
  • Proverbs 14:12

If you’ve read all of these verses, the WORD tells this about us: we have the ability to make choices. We have the choice of which path we should take in life but where we end up is another thing.

One important example that I want to give is how the LORD gave the Israelites the choice, He set before them, life and death. As you can see here, The LORD never forced His 1st born take the path He wanted them to take. He gave them choices and they chose it, which unfortunately led to consequences that were not blessings but curses, according to Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28, after verse 14. It’s pretty long.

God never forces anyone to obey Him or follow Him, we have the right to choose so. Our God loves us enough to give us the right to make choices but His desires for us is to choose Him. But He would NEVER force us to choose Him. It is the desire of our hearts (Deuteronomy 6:5).

Another is this in John 3:16, particularly when the WORD said, “…whoever believes in me shall not perish, but have everlasting life”. The WORD NEVER said, “whoever I force to believe in me..” No, He says that “whoever believes”, meaning you have the choice to believe in Jesus or not.

You have the choice to walk in the truth. You have the choice to obey God and His word. You have the choice to love Him. To love God is to choose to obey Him and serve Him wholly.

This is the same with with King Saul. The LORD appointed Saul to be a King. He could have said no to the position, but he chose to take it. God never enforced Saul to take the position as King.

Unfortunately, Saul made choices that were not godly choices, because when we are chosen by God, it is important to obey everything He tells us because of our LOVE for Him.

When we don’t, in the story of Saul, his kingdom was taken away from him and the LORD did not acknowledge him as king, for the LORD already chose a man after His own heart, that will choose to obey the LORD with all His heart.

This is what the LORD told me concerning this topic:

The Lord God does not make anyone do anything. He reveals them His ways and they make a choice. My child, there are people that think I am a God who forces things and makes them do things when I am not the God who does so. I give you choices because I desire you to choose me and not the other. My child, know this: I would not let you go through a way if you did not choose it, I would allow you to go through it but I will never force anyone to do something they don’t want to do. My child, I am God the Father and I love my children, and I cannot stand my children to think that I am forceful.

Tell my people that I am not forceful God but a God who gives you the choice to serve me or not serve me. I will still love you but that doesn’t mean that your choice will end up in the place you think it will be, there is a way that seems right to man, but in the end it leads to death. Choose life and you’ll bear fruit, good fruit, choose death, and you’ll be in hell. My child, know this, choices are important, and the choice you make will have consequences. Choose to obey or not to obey. That’s the truth. I desire my children to obey me but they have the choice to do so.

So let’s choose, let’s make the choice, and know that when we follow the LORD, it is for good. It is not for bad. It is growth, it is not hindering. There’s joy in saying yes to the LORD and obeying Him.

And know that God would never force anything on anyone. We make choices everyday physical, spiritually, and financial.

So therefore, my brothers and sisters in the LORD CHOOSE LIFE AND YOU SHALL LIVE.
