The LORD gave me this WORD a few days ago concerning kings and rulers, the changing of the guards. I wrote about the changing of the guards in a post last year. Then, I did not understand the meaning of the changing of the guards until I looked it up.
The LORD says that He is arising leaders and changing the guards in the nations.
Now, the changing of the guard, I believe in this time, stems from various reasons. I believe the Holy Spirit led me to read 1st Kings. I read how each king were replaced due several reasons, especially leading GOD’s children to idolatry.
When the LORD changes the guard, there are various reasons for this and this is the will of the LORD. There had to be the changing of the guards when He called Cyrus to set the Israelite’s free in Ezra 1 and Isaiah 45.
Another reason for the changing of the guards can be linked to King Saul in 1st Samuel, when Saul disobeyed the instructions of the LORD when he was told to kill the household of the Amalekites. Therefore, Saul was no longer recognized as King, therefore the LORD told Samuel to anoint David as the next king because David was the man after the LORD’s heart (1st Samuel 15).
What the LORD cannot stand is when leaders led His children astray, to worshiping idols as it was shown in the ruling of Jeroboam in 1 King 12.
“O My people! Children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Your leaders lead you astray And confuse (destroy, swallow up) the direction of your paths.” (Isaiah 3:12 AMP).

What matters to GOD is that His people are led by the right king, who shall the people in justice and righteousness.
“Justice and Righteousness are the foundation of Your throne; lovingkindness and truth go before you.” (Psalm 89:14 AMP)

In the Old Testaments, the LORD arose leaders of nations to take over the Israelite because of the sin they have done before the LORD. This can be found in the book of Judges and other books of the bible.
Now it seems that in this time GOD arises leaders for His purpose, sitting in Justice and righteousness, leading the nation to walk in the will of the GOD. And because of this changing of the guards, this gives us, children of GOD in Christ Jesus, to stand as Kings and Priests over the nations furthering the kingdom of GOD to reign and continue to reign on earth, and most importantly saving souls (1 Peter 2:9).
When we read the history of these kings, if they did what was right in the LORD’s eyes, you would the kings overthrow and dismantle idols, removing what is not of GOD and planting what is His -His standards, laws and principles. But if they did not do what was before the LORD, they would be removed, because they have led the children of GOD astray.
So what am I saying in the midst of this? Again, it is our to come in agreement with the LORD to pray for these leaders, according to Psalm 2:10-11, 1 Timothy 2:1-4, Psalm 22:28, and many more when you do it in your own time.
So let’s pray that the LORD arise leaders, from various levels, that will promote peace in the land, all of the nations of the world/earth, to spread the gospel around the world, furthering the kingdom of GOD.
