Test this WORD and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you into all TRUTH.

One day, I came into the thought of the importance of Faith. It then led me to think about Moses holding the staff when the Israelite’s were against the Amalekites in Exodus 17. This particular verse and event stood out to me. The verse says:

V. 11 When Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed; and when he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed.

You see the importance of this verse? When Moses held up his hand, the Israelite’s prevailed. But on other hand, when Moses’s hand was lowered, the Amalekites prevailed.

Isn’t this the same with our faith? If we lose faith in GOD and his promises, our faith is lowered. But if we keep walking by faith and not by sight, our faith is developed, increased.

I believe the Holy Spirit was dealing with me on this topic because of a project that I placed on hold because I was frustrated because I had come up with solutions to the problem. I had no creative solutions so to say.

But the Holy Spirit was reminding me to pursue this project by faith. Meaning that I has to develop my faith as I was working on this project. How though?

Well in Jude 1:20, the WORD says ,

V.20 Dear friends, use your most holy faith to grow. Pray with the Holy Spirit’s help.

Another translation says,

V.20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,

So one way to build up your faith, is by praying int he Holy Spirit, or in tongues. And how we speak in tongues is by using our mouth to speak the utterances of the Spirit, the mysteries of GOD. If we don’t use out mouth, then we are not building ourselves in the our most holy faith.

The mouth is what we need to use to build up our faith. The word says in Proverbs 18:21 that the tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat its fruit. To develop your faith requires you speaking faith.

Going back to what the Holy Spirit revealed to me about this, later on during the week I learned that speaking life giving words by faith will destroy the enemies attack but also build up your faith, allowing the will of GOD to manifest in your life. But it is by our mouth on a daily basis to confess and decree. The enemy is like a lion, always prowling and wants to devour our faith. But we need to speak GOD’s WORD and push back the plans of the enemy and trample his plans.

One way that I am starting to develop my faith, particularly relating to the project is by speaking life giving words to my project and my self. For example, “I am filled with creative solutions from the LORD.” or “have creative solutions”. And guess what? When I started saying that and talked to the LORD about it, solution ideas came about and I am on the verge of applying them on the project! Oh! Taste and see that the LORD is good!

In Luke 12:35, Jesus tells us to always keep our lamp burning. To do that we need to develop our faith, and it is in various ways we do that, which I will list them in the next post. But one way is by speaking in the Spirit, to fuel our faith.

So friend, if you’ve been almost running our faith fuel, fuel it by using your mouth and speak life giving words, and speaking in tongues. Those two are a good place to start.

It’s the year, 2025, to declare GOD’s will on earth, your community, your environment, and your life. As the Wise Virgins, we need to keep a lot of oil in our lamp to fuel our lamp so that it keeps burning. Let’s speak and decree GOD’s word together, decreeing His kingdom to dwell on earth and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
