I do not where this is going to lead but I think that I am going to make a series based focusing on the heart of man and how it should align with the will of GOD. I have gone through a series called reconciliation with GOD which lasted for a month or so.

Now, by the grace of GOD and guidance of the Holy Spirit, I wanted to focus on the heart of man. The bible says, where your treasure is, your heart will be also (Matthew 6:21). So I wanted to encourage the body of Christ to treasure their heart in Christ alone. It’s a journey to trust the LORD with all of our hearts but it is a better way than we think.

Our lives are meant to live for Christ, brothers and sisters. Before we were in Christ, our hearts were in the world. We were leaning on our own understanding and desired the things of this world. We followed the flesh as an act of worship instead of worshiping the true and only GOD, who created us. But now that we are in Christ, our desires should change. We should embrace TRUTH in our hearts that sets us free. What we desired in the world, the wrong thinking and things should be put away and embrace the right thinking and things of Christ.

Therefore, my question for you is this: What’s catching your heart today? What’s grasping at your heart? There are many things that could grasp our hearts today but are they with the right motives? The right thinking? Do they produce godliness?

As you ponder on this, I pray that your thoughts and your heart, including mine, are grasping the ways, will, plans, and purpose of GOD. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you grasp your heart, and whether your heart is aligned and submitted to GOD’s good, pleasing, and perfect will.
