While I was prayer and devotion, the LORD spoke through me, and He said,

When He spoke this, there was a heaviness on me. I believe the LORD is serious about this. 

So then I went to look up the definition of the changing of the guards. What is changing of the guards? I saw an example of this for the Buckingham Palace.  There is a change of the guards every so season; old guards are exchanged for new guards. 

This actually reminded me of what happened to my car yesterday. The car needed a new battery because the car would not start. I had to replace the old battery with a new one because the old battery could not start the car, therefore, the battery was weak and dead. The new battery had to be bought because a new battery sustains the car to charge up and start up. 

What I have learned is that changing of the guards could be many things, such as leaders of various levels and/or angels. 

And this changing of the guards, I believe, is the pivot for the new thing the LORD is bringing us to, the guards that would have the capacity of sustaining the new thing the LORD is bringing us to.

We can see examples of changing of the guards in the Bible: from Saul to David, Moses to Joshua. Another example is a bible verse about angels, in Psalm 34:7, which the WORD says,

the angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him and He delivers them.” When the LORD is changing the guards, angels are there to protect us as well. 

I believe that the LORD is getting His children ready as we embark in this new thing, this new season He is bringing us to. 

God is doing something in these last days and they are good things. Let us keep up with the LORD’s doing by prayer and listening to the true prophets of this final hour.
