He forgives ALL of our unrighteousness

I wanted to place on here an encouragement that I wrote to someone and I hope that it encourages if you are going through a tough time where you don’t feel GOD or don’t believe He has forgiven you. Here’s the comment. I also added a few more words just to let you know:

God is an absolutely good GOD whose unfailing love endures forever. I’ve been where you are and I know how you feel. The mistakes can easily be forgiven because the WORD says that if you confess your sins, He is faithful and just, to forgive you of your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). He removes the guilt of your sins (Psalm 32:5).

Also, it is a matter of choice: do you believe, have faith, that GOD has forgiven you or are you going to go about thinking that you are not forgiven? Plus, know that God does not invoke shame, the enemy does.

When you are forgiven, your shame is taken away, the reproach is taken away.

The WORD says that those who trust in the LORD will not be put to shame (Psalm 25:3). So he does not place any shame on you. When we allow ourselves to feel shame then it affects our thinking, focusing our thinking on the situation/problem and diminishing our faith in GOD.

You may not feel that GOD loves you but have faith that He truly does because He died for you and sacrificed his life for you so you can be free, from the shame! In Christ, you are no longer in shame, but in freedom, hope, joy, and peace.

When He says He will never leave you nor forsake you, you have to trust in those words and have faith. Stand on His promises. And GOD will give you the strength as you trust in Him. He will strengthen you and help you, and He will uphold you with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).

Things may seem difficult, but I pray that GOD, in His abounding mercy and grace, reveals and showers you with His deep, high, long, and wide love. You are dearly loved. May He give you beauty for ashes, strength for fear, gladness for mourning, peace for despair in Jesus Christ’s Name!
