I was reading Ezra 9:1-2 a while ago, and I forgot to write it here because I briefly posted a video on TikTok that I was going to do. So when I read a particular chapter, and I believe it was not a coincidence, I believe that I have gotten a revelation of this concerning what has been talked about for a while.

**Let the Holy Spirit guide you and lead you into all truth as you study the scriptures.

Ezra 9:1-2 says this in the KJV:

1 Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

2 For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass. 

What is this saying? First of all, the WORD of the LORD is alive and active, meaning that what is in the WORD would come forth in the natural, in our environment, in the nations, and in our lives. Isn’t that amazing? Therefore, it is important to read, meditate, and study the WORD because you do not know what revelation the Holy Spirit will reveal to you. 

I digress, let’s go back to this topic. 

As you can see, the people of Israel have intermarried with people outside of their land, their people. They have intermarried with people of the land, which led them to worship idols, basically prostituting themselves to things that are manmade. The Israelites followed the ways of man and did not cling to GOD. 

This is what is happening with the church today. The church is intermingling with the world rather than fully being committed to GOD. We have to remember that though we are in this world, we do not belong here, we have a heavenly home that is our permanent residency. And because we are intermingling with the world, we are “the holy seed” and have planted ourselves with bad seeds, the world seed. 

Church, if you’ve fallen into this category, then ask yourself this question: What does the world have for me? What does the world have that you think GOD is not willing to give and so much better? This also means that if you are falling in the world, then you do not have an understanding of who GOD is and why He saved you through Jesus Christ in the first place. 

Jesus did not come to condemn the world but came to save the world, and the people in it so you won’t have to be enslaved by the beliefs, and ideas of this world-leading you to the wages of sin, which is death. But to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. 

This is what John 3:17-21 says in the AMP:

17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him. 

18 Whoever believes and has decided to trust in Him [as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation]; but the one who does not believe[and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because he has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the One who alone can save him]. 

19 This is the judgment [that is, the cause for indictment, the test by which people are judged, the basis for the sentence]: the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 

20 For every wrongdoer hates the Light, and does not come to the Light [but shrinks from it] for fear that his [sinful, worthless] activities will be exposed and condemned. 

21 But whoever practices truth[and does what is right—morally, ethically, spiritually] comes to the Light, so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are—accomplished in God [divinely prompted, done with God’s help, in dependence on Him].”

When we are living in the world, we are not seeing things from GOD’s perspective. We are not walking with the Holy Spirit, and we are not worshipping GOD in spirit and truth. 

Jesus Christ came to bring us into the light, bringing us out of darkness into GOD’s marvelous light. Let us come to understand this. Let us come to understand that we are Christians and we need to set Godly standards in front of others but also within ourselves, to not intermingle with the world but to be a light in the dark world. 

Put to death the flesh and the LORD will give you the strength to walk in uprightly. Cling to the LORD and He will see you through because He who called you His OWN will uphold you with His righteous right hand.

Repent of your sins, plead the blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse you, and walk in his standards, and let the Holy Spirit counsel you on how to walk in true righteousness and holiness.
