Today, I have another Word from the LORD. I desire you to take this Word and give it to GOD in prayer, test the spirits, and let the Holy Spirit lead you into all truth. 

I believe that GOD is going to do something that the church will need to go through but you will come out of it victorious. 

I believe that it has to do with the Words that I wrote in the past few days. So again, pray about it, I urge you to go to GOD and let Him lead you and reveal to you. 

Here’s the bible verse that I believe emphasizes what GOD is doing. From the exposure of pastors and other shepherds to the threshing and winnowing, GOD is going to do something that will help us see how he sees us.

So I believe that the LORD is going to bring something to the church that is going to be painful or will cause hurt. Now I want you to know that GOD is absolutely good, so do not think that He’s going to bring some type of disaster that will be so horrible that we can’t deal with it. 

What I mean by pain or hurt, I mean by exposing what you value most in your life. Do you care about the things in your life more than GOD? 

For example, in a relationship, you value the person you’re with. You love them so much that when the relationship is over, you might end up getting hurt, especially if the person broke up with you. 

You end up getting hurt because you place value on that person. 

So the LORD GOD is going to expose the church with what they value, what we’re holding on to more so than GOD. The experience that will come may be painful for us, but in reality, it should not be if we trust and are seeking GOD. 

The purpose of all of this is that GOD wants to bring up the greatness that is on the inside of us. We were made for greatness because we’re children of the Most High. But if we do not see this in ourselves, how would we know that we have greatness if we don’t experience a situation that would bring about the greatness that GOD has put in us?

We cannot stick to the old mindset that is not leading us to new levels and new things GOD has for us but we must have a continual renewal of the mind (Romans 12:2). That is why something is coming that may hurt us, but it is like a refiner, removing impurities. 

“Remove the dross from the silver, and a silversmith can produce a vessel;” Proverbs 25:4 NIV

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Refine means free from impurities. GOD wants to set you free from impurities. GOD wants you to be pure Gold or Silver, free from impurities. 

See sometimes what we hold on to the most, is not good for us, whether it is a good thing or a bad thing. At the end of the day, do we value GOD more than we value what we have? Can we see who we are as children of the Most High or do we only see in ourselves what our limited mind can see?

“Who can endure the day of His coming? Who can stand when He appears? For He will be like refiner’s fire or a launder’s soap.”- Malachi 3:2-3 NIV

“But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I will come forth as gold.” Job 23:10 NIV

***When GOD tests you, He’s refining you. 

“See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.” Isaiah 48:10 NIV

“This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people, ‘ and they will say, ‘The LORD is our GOD.’” Zechariah 13:9 NIV

“The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the LORD tests the heart.” Proverbs 17:3 NIV
