I was reading the Bible a verse caught my attention in Micah 4:12:

“But now many nations have assembled against you, those who are saying, “Let her be defiled, and let our eyes gaze on Zion.” But they do not know Adonai’s thoughts, nor understand His plan. For He has gathered them like grain to a threshing floor.”

Micah 4:11-12 TLV

Also another bible verse I read this week in Matthew 16:23:

“But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, satan! You are a stumbling block to Me, for you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but the things of men.””

I believe that God wants us to be awake to the going ons in the world. We need to awaken and began interceding for the nations, our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world and even those close to us. And then letting the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guarding our minds and hearts in Christ Jesus.

There are enemies in this land of the US and in various nations of the earth who wants the people of God to be put down and be defiled. The Bible says that it is not what comes in that you are defiled but it is what comes out of you that defiles you.

““Don’t you grasp that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and then is ejected into the sewer? But the things that proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart, and those things make the man unholy. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, and slander. These are the things that make the man unholy; but to eat with unwashed hands does not make the man unholy.”” Matthew 15:17-20 TLV

But remember, we’re not fighting against humans but against the principalities worldly forces of darkness, and enemies that are against God and His people.

Ephesians 6:12 TLV says “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the worldly forces of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

But thanks be to be God, I believe that we are to be reminded that God’s ways and thoughts are higher than ours. Let us not deal with things from a human perspective but from godly perspective. Jesus said that satan himself thinks on a human level!

So should we stoop low and think on a human level like satan or should we come up higher and stand firm on the promises of God, we take our promises as Children of God, bearing our cross, and to walk in our destinies? He knows what is best for us and that He is control. His plans are always final and it shall be done.

Therefore, let’s remember to set our thoughts above and not below. To store up treasures in heaven and not on earth. Worry not about the what is going on the world or in your life but intercede, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances because God will take care of it.
