Jesus Christ, The Curse Breaker (part 2)

This was the same with Gideon. Gideon was called to be the least in his family and was fearful. And he believed it because he mentioned, “I am the least in the family.” But GOD had to make him see that he was not these behaviors, ideas, and beliefs. He was a mighty warrior.

What are the characteristics of a mighty warrior? In Joshua 1:9, GOD told Joshua to be strong and courageous because he and the Israelites would possess a land others inhabited. But GOD already gave them into Joshua’s hand. David was a mighty warrior, defeating Goliath and other enemies with courage and strength in the LORD.

So, as a warrior, you are to have strength and courage, but that only comes from the LORD. So when you lean and trust in the LORD GOD, he helps you defeat your enemies.

Remember, do not conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by renewing your mind so that you may know the will of GOD, His good, pleasing, and perfect will. That’s in Romans 12:2.

When we go along with the things of this world, we’re already being disobedient to GOD because we are not trusting GOD; therefore, the more we dwell in the world rather than repenting and returning to GOD, the more God might give us those desires. Still, they will be a snare, an entrapment in our lives. He gives us to our flesh desires instead of keeping us and sustaining us. And that leads to curses and oppression in our lives. That’s in Romans 1:28.

I don’t want you nor I to live like this.

So when Gideon and the angel of the LORD had a talk, as we further read, we see that the LORD told Gideon to destroy the idol in His father’s house and replace it with the altar of the LORD. Gideon could not overcome the Midianites if he did not put GOD first in his house. And by GOD’s mercy, He helped Gideon by giving him instructions on how to break the curse of oppression by building an altar to the LORD and offering a burnt offering for atonement.

To live a life in the blessing of the LORD, you need to stop living a life of sin.

In 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

GOD does not want you to live in oppression; he does not want you to live in your familial curse.

This is to say that GOD does not want you to live in the oppression, the curses of your past family members and ancestors that went through these things I’ve mentioned earlier. He wants you to know Jesus Christ, the curse breaker.

He wants you to come to the way, the truth, and the life that reconciles you to GOD. Jesus Christ, who became a curse for us, became cancer, anger, cheating, and pornography for us, so you don’t have to live in it anymore.

“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.’ He redeemed us so that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Holy Spirit” Galatians 3:13-14 NIV.

You don’t have to experience sickness, diseases, or other things your ancestors experienced. It should not even be considered normal in your life because in Christ, there is freedom, there is healing, there is deliverance, and that is through His blood.

Did you know that these sins do yield sickness? Read Deuteronomy 28 regarding the blessing of obedience and the curse of disobedience. Through the bible, by the guidance and revelation of the Holy Spirit, the LORD GOD reveals that when we disobey HIM, consequences such as disease, sickness, curses, and illness occur. But that in no way means that GOD wants you to be sick or anything like that. He desires you to be well, to prosper as your soul prospers (3 John 2).

To even not partake in that, you must trust in Jesus Christ, having HIM as your LORD and savior, as your author and finisher of your faith. And having the Holy Spirit to help you crucify the flesh with its passions and desire so that you may live in the blessing of the LORD. To go further, declare the WORD of life over you.

In Proverbs 18:21, “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

So when you speak the WORD of GOD in your life, such as “…by His stripes, I am healed.” or “no weapon forged against me shall prosper..” You are declaring the WORD to be accurate in your life. Believe in the WORD by faith; those words will be alive and active in your life.

**I want to credit Prophet Tiphani Montgomery and Minister Kevin Ewing for this because I would have never known about this; by reading the bible, of course, and the Holy Spirit who helped me further to understand this.

Glory unto GOD alone.

Here is the video from the individuals I mentioned. You can fast forward the timeline to the teaching of Mr. Kevin E., who goes deeper into this.
