A few days ago or so, I believe the Holy Spirit revealed a bible verse that showed more that I believe all should know, those who are Christians and those who are not Christians. I believe the LORD wants us to know that without Jesus Christ, we have no LIFE. Without Jesus Christ, we are veiled. We cannot see nor live truthfully without Jesus Christ. 

The bible verse that I am talking about is in Mark 8:22-26. In another post, I used the same bible verse but wrote about unbelief. When you have unbelief, it makes it hard to believe in something. And concerning the blind man, he was blind, if we see this from a spiritual perspective. He was so blind that he could not see the truth that was right in front of Him, Jesus Christ.

The people who lived in the same city the blind man lived in were veiled because they would not believe the WORD who performed miracles in front of them. Therefore, for the man to see, Jesus Christ had to take him out of the unbelieving environment because there was unbelief. 

In the other post, I mentioned that the LORD Jesus Christ spit into the man’s eyes so that he could be healed. Jesus spit His life into the man’s eyes so that He could see. This reminds me of Elisha when he died and was placed in a tomb or grave, some raiders threw a dead body in the tomb by where Elisha was, and when the dead body touched Elisha’s bone, the dead man came back to life (2 Kings 13:20-21). Now in this particular post, I believe that the LORD desires us to know that without Jesus Christ, you cannot have LIFE. 

Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. Without Him, you do not have LIFE, therefore, you are not truly living. 

John 6:35 says, “Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”

What does this mean? This means that in Christ Jesus, you have LIFE; you are full and satisfied. And this is not just any life but life and life in abundance (John 10:10). 

Maybe you are in this life and you’ve tried to find fulfillment in things: drugs, love, sex, TV shows, etc…

But that has not worked for you. You feel unsatisfied and maybe even empty. 

The Bible says that GOD so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in HIM, shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). Abba Father wants to give LIFE to those who are lost. 

The LORD GOD wants to unveil the eyes of those who are blind so that they can see and experience LIFE that is far different and better than what they’re currently living now. 

“But whenever anyone turns to the LORD, the veil is taken away.” 2 Corinthians 3:16 NIV

So I invite you, friend, to know Jesus Christ, who wants you to know HIM and to inherit LIFE, eternal LIFE. 

Jesus Christ is the only one that can give this true LIFE. He’s more than just a story; He’s the SON of GOD, who came to save us by the sacrifice He made on the cross. 

We were deserving of punishment because of our sins, but Jesus Christ paid for our sins and conquered death. And now through Him, and Him in us, we now can live. 

So, therefore, invite Jesus Christ into your life and let Him give you LIFE, the LIFE that will greatly satisfy you. 

If you desire Jesus Christ to be the Savior and LORD of your life, here’s a simple prayer that you can pray:

LORD Jesus Christ, I thank you for not only saving the world but also saving me so that I might have life that only you can give. I confess with my mouth that you are the LORD and my Savior and believe in my heart that GOD the Father raised you from the dead to save my life. Therefore, cleanse me and wash away my sins, make me clean, and show me the path of LIFE. Unveil my eyes with your truth so that I may see and experience what it is to truly live life and life in abundance. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray, Amen.
