**As you read this word, I urge you to pray about it and test the spirit based on what I have written. May GOD lead you into all truth.
***This was written in 2023, after Rosh Hashanah passed.
Because Rosh Hashanah has passed, and it is the beginning of the new year, I believe that GOD will do something new in your life, whoever is reading this. I believe the LORD desires you to see new beginnings. Fresh beginnings where you will eat the fat of the land.
The synonym for fat I have read is lucrative, flourishing, fertile, fruitful, profitable, prosperous, thriving…
I believe that you will possess a land, a new beginning that is fruitful, profitable, prosperous, thriving, and flourishing.
I was reading Deuteronomy 11, specifically beginning verse 10 (ESV). Still, I think you should read the whole chapter to comprehend the desires of the LORD, and I believe this is what the LORD desires to do:
“For the land that you are entering to take possession of it is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and irrigated it, like a garden of vegetables. But the land you are going over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water by the rain from heaven, a land that the LORD your GOD cars for. The eyes of the LORD your GOD are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.”
This is saying that this new year, Jewish new year to be exact, is the new beginning, a new land I believe GOD wants you to take and possess. Plus, this new beginning or land will differ because you won’t have to toil for it. I have an AMP bible that says that irrigation, a way to water the plants, was a complex task to whoever was gardening. So the Israelites, slaves to the Egyptians, were toiling and gardening with difficulty. Here is a link to the description of this specific verse from BibleStudyTools.com.
So to say, you are going to a new land, your new beginning, that GOD is giving you to possess, where you won’t have to work hard for it. Why? In verses 11-12, it says that the land you are going to is going to be a land “…which drinks water by the rain of heaven, a land that the LORD your GOD cares for.”
It will not be on your own accord, but GOD will care for your crops and work. Also, GOD will do it supernaturally, not your own results. Remember, it will be GOD who will get the glory, Him alone.
This quickly reminded me of King Jehosaphat in 2 Chronicles 20, which I have written in my other post, where GOD gave him victory because the battle was not his but the LORD. And this is the same; GOD is going to bless you in this land, where it will not be on your accord, but He will be the GOD over all. You need to go to possess it, but He will go before you to conquer it.
In addition, as always, May you always seek and praise GOD. May the promises He leads you to take and possess give you joy, peace, and rest, but may you ALWAYS seek HIM, even in the promised land. If you read Deuteronomy 11, the whole chapter, GOD continues to say, if you keep my commandments…impress it on your hearts…because He does not want you to worship the new land, but HIM because HE is the one that gave you this new land, this new beginning.
We definitely serve a good GOD who desires the best for us, but we must also desire Him above all.
So, brother or sister, GOD is bringing a new beginning, a new land where He will be GOD over all. Rejoice in HIM alone!
I hope this blessed you.
