I hope you are all well in the comfort of our GOD in our Lord, Christ Jesus. In this post, I wanted to give bible verses about resting in GOD. These are also bible verses that have personally helped me to renew my strength and live in hope in challenging situations.

I hope you know that resting in GOD is trusting in GOD. It’s about acknowledging GOD is the only one you need. Where you won’t be concerned about the things of the world but “rest” in GOD and seek HIM with all your heart.

Without further due, here are the bible verses you can add to your prayer book and prayer closet.

Isaiah 26:3: “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”

John 14:26: “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”

2 Corinthians 1:3-5: “Blessed be the GOD and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and GOD of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by GOD.”

1st John 4:17-18: “By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as He is so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.”

Psalm 145:8,18: “The LORD is merciful and compassionate, slow to angry and filled with unfailing love…The LORD is close to all who call on Him, ye, to all who call on Him in truth.”

Romans 8:38-39: “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, not anything else in all creation, will be able to separate from the love of GOD in Christ Jesus our LORD.”

Isaiah 41:10: “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your GOD. I will strengthen you and help. I will hold you with my victorious right hand.”

Psalm 23:4: “Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.”

John 14:1: “Let not your hearts be trouble. Believe in GOD; believe also in me.”

Matthew 22:37; “And He said you shall love the LORD your GOD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”

Philippians 4:19: “And my GOD will supply every need of yours according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”

Numbers 6:24-26 “May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you His favor and give you peace.”
